Modern, multicultural design, interesting texture and colour combination, as well as keeping up with the times 3D fabrics– these are the newest proposals Davis company offers for the upcoming season. Davis is a highly recognized brand name on the furniture market. Since 1995 the company has been dealing in sale and import of upholstery fabrics. It cooperates with suppliers from all over world and among its customers are manufacturers of upholstered furniture from Poland, West Europe and the Baltic states. Among the assets for potential contractors are the high quality of materials and attractive terms and conditions of cooperation, including favourable payment terms and negotiability of prices. In 2011 Davis Trading Company presented its latest offer at the Furniture Trade Fair “Meble Polska” and SoFab (International Trade Fair of Upholstery Fabrics and Components for the Production of Upholstered Furniture] in Poznań. In 2012 the company is going to participate, for the first time, in Heimtextil (International Trade Fair for Home and Contract Textiles) in Frankfurt. A rich Davis upholstery offer contains, inter alia, jacquard, and printed fabrics. Sofas and armchairs will gain a modern look thanks to structural, quilted or satin textiles. Lovers of soft and velvety fabrics have at their disposal microfibre.
For furniture inspired by nature, the company offers a wide range of polyester fabrics, easy to take care of, resembling cotton, wool or linen. The offer is complemented with artificial leather: Madryt, Madryt New and Kongo Among the most recent propositions are Kobe and Aster collections inspired by floral motifs, the aesthetics of which is way ahead of classic patterns. Their modern form is attributable to some borrowings from Japanese design. The Amber and London collections are equally interesting. Here you will find a direct reference to the technique used to make them, i.e. printing. Application of patterns based on lettering and prudent use of colour similar to printing ink is a bold proposition moving with the times. The People collection is maintained in a similar, urban style. Following the latest worldwide trends, Davis company introduced to its offer quilted fabrics, creating a 3D effect (their basis being such collections as Galaxy, Sawana, Nubuk and Oslo) and vivid, rich colours (the Etna collection), such as fuchsia, purple, lime and bright blue, in vogue these days.
